Lorraine joined the real estate industry in March 2019. She joined Phillip Berry and the Harcourts Rural team in October 2019 and quickly hit the ground running.

Lorraine immigrated to the Eastern Bay of Plenty in June 2004 from County Mayo in the west of Ireland and truly believes she now lives in Paradise. Her husband Dale is originally from Matata and they have two children, Sean and Phoebe. Lorraine and her family lived the ‘good life’ on a lifestyle block in Manawahe for 6 years before moving into Whakatane, but their connection to country life didn’t stop there. In 2014 Lorraine and Dale bought a fig orchard just outside Edgecumbe and worked at that for 2 seasons. Lorraine’s father-in-law Mel Jones has been the local sheep shearer for many years around the Eastern Bay.

Being a real estate agent allows Lorraine to connect with people during a stressful time. Her calming nature will be most utilised during price negotiations when the most important part of her job comes into play, getting the best price possible for her clients. Her client’s priorities are her priorities until she gets the result they desire. Lorraine understands that her clients want the best price for their property, in a timeframe prescribed by them that allows them to move onto their next adventure.

Lorraine is a member of the Whakatane Toastmasters club, the secretary for the Whakatane Judo club and attends the Liberty Life Church with her family. She is also a Marriage Celebrant so squeezes in a wedding ceremony or two when she can.
